English at UC Berkeley: Academic Insights

The University of California at Berkeley is home to the #1 English Department in the United States. Wai Ho is a fourth year English major at UC Berkeley, who spent her summer at Stanford University, working as a Residential Counselor teaching high school students at the International Institute. At Berkeley, Wai studies English Literature with a focus on pre-18th Century texts and works as a Writing Tutor at the Student Learning Center, working with fellow students to improve their writing.
