A Day in the Life: UCLA Student

Haroon Rasheed is a third year Bioengineering Major and the President of the Engineering Society at UCLA. Studying Bioengineering allows Haroon to explore a wide range of fields within the discipline, while using his specialized "technical breadth" within the major to pursue Pre-Med. Haroon balances his rigorous academic pursuit with his work as the President of the Engineering Society at UCLA, which works as an umbrella organization to bring together the diverse engineering community of the school, bridge the gap between administration and students, and put on events for the entire student body. Haroon also volunteers for the Venice Family Clinic, works as a Learning Assistant, and is writing a book! Check out what it's like to be Haroon for a day!
