USC Student Government: Service and Advocacy
The Undergraduate Student Government at the University of Southern California is one of the largest, best funded student governing bodies in the United States, serving and advocating for USC's 19,000 undergraduates with a budget of $2.5 million. USG members advocate on behalf of all members of the student body for policy changes, plan high-profile campus-wide events ranging from concerts to study breaks, and provide funding opportunities for USC's many student clubs. Gus sits down with USG Student Body President Edwin Saucedo and USG Business Relations Director Chelsea Zhang to learn about their favorite memories from USG, why they joined student government, and what makes USG special!
